This series is for the **Inventory Controller**, who runs the warehouse, tracks stock levels, and keeps tools available. It takes about 45 minutes.

**Before you start:** finish the [Administration](https://support.toolingmetrics.com/en/admin/tutorials/) series, and have products in the Library to sync to items. Following the [Quickstart](https://support.toolingmetrics.com/en/start-here/quickstart/inventory/) demo instead of your own data? Use its storage device table, and save **Create stock rules** for the [Purchasing stage](https://support.toolingmetrics.com/en/start-here/quickstart/purchasing/), which has its own table of values.

**After this series:** the Purchaser starts the [Purchasing](https://support.toolingmetrics.com/en/purchasing/tutorials/) series.
