# Stage V: Production

Assemble tools, pick from the warehouse, set up the machine, record runtime, and return tools.

**Prerequisites:** Stage IV complete — vendors and stock rules configured, items in stock

The Tool Room works from the released setup sheet — assembling tools, picking items, loading the machine, running the job, then returning tools with their condition recorded.

## Outcome

A complete production cycle is recorded — picks, runtime, returns, and conditions. The Production Manager can review tool performance in [Stage VI](https://support.toolingmetrics.com/en/start-here/quickstart/analytics/).
