A Pick List instructs an operator to retrieve items or tools from storage at a Warehouse Access Point. Pick lists are created automatically — by the Engineering Setup Assistant when preparing a job’s tools, or when generating the components for a single tool — or manually for ad-hoc picks. Pick Lists live in the Inventory module (Inventory → Pick Lists) alongside every other stock-move document, since picking is a warehouse operation shared by every module.

The physical pick — walking to the storage location and scanning or entering the item’s serial number — happens at a ToolingMetrics WAP terminal, which highlights the location on the warehouse’s 3D model for each line. The same Mark as Todo / Check Availability / Validate actions are available from the WAP screen, so a pick list can be started, worked, and completed without leaving the terminal. The office Pick Lists list is for creating ad-hoc pick lists and reviewing status.
