Stage V: Production
Assemble tools, pick from the warehouse, set up the machine, record runtime, and return tools.
Role: Machinist / Operator
Prerequisites: Stage IV complete — vendors and stock rules configured, items in stock
Hands off to: Production Manager (Stage VI)
The Tool Room works from the released setup sheet — assembling tools, picking items, loading the machine, running the job, then returning tools with their condition recorded.
Follow the Production Get started series in order — assemble the tool from the released setup sheet, pick items, set up the machine, record runtime, return tools, and track condition.
Outcome
Section titled “Outcome”A complete production cycle is recorded — picks, runtime, returns, and conditions. The Production Manager can review tool performance in Stage VI.
